  • Left orbit can be huge scoring. 100K orbit max, 100K saucer max, at 3X playfield that's 600K per shot!
  • Work the lanes at the top. Remember, you are trying to put lights out, not light them!
  • Knock down upper left and upper right drop targets first. Because, if you drain, they reset next ball, helps as you need to drop them twice.
  • Left orbit almost all day (if not for the need to also complete pool ball racks). Feeds top lanes, which complete for playfield multiplier!
  • When ball is at top, lane change (if not disabled) to always keep HAM lanes lit. Spelling CHAMP is playfield multiplier until end of ball!
  • Bonus is permanent on this game, so in later balls, concentrate on left orbit all day, to build bonus multiplier up to 5X.
  • Each drop target resets after your ball drains, but drop target will not reset during play until you hit the standup behind it.

  • Hit Top left targets to light locks, lock balls in VUKs, hit again to release balls.
  • Don't forget about center post kicker!
  • Unused Little Devil Credits (used to operate kicker post) are paid out in ball 3 bonus (10k each), so be sure not to tilt if you need them!
  • Once at least one ball is locked, the next lock target completion will release all locked balls.
  • One of the saucers is always lit for FIREBALL bonus collect. It collects with bonus x. Lighting lock makes collecting way easier.
  • Center target bank adds 2 demon credits and a Doomsday bonus x.
  • ABCD advances Fireball bonus x.
  • Shatz (shoot opposite inlane) to get C and D and to build up Fireball bonus.

  • A big nudge when the ball is headed to the longer rubber by the upper drops will usually bounce it over the middle and to the upper flipper.
  • Completing Drops on the lower left once lights left spinner. Completing twice lights both spinners.
  • Bonus multipliers 2x and 3x at lower right drops, 4x at upper playfield drops, and 5x at lower left drops.
  • Easiest shot to get the 3x on the linear targets is from the left flipper but it's possible to backhand from the edge of the right flipper.
  • 2x and 3x PF same time = nail top and left drops when lit then saucer to start 15 seconds with PF multipliers. Lt drops inc spin value.
  • From right flipper, backhand the right ramp. On many machines you can backhand the bonus collect in shooter lane.

  • The key to big Scores is to get the 20k Bonus with first Ball. This is carried over from Ball to Ball and ist not hard to aim for 30k, 40k.
  • Shoot the inline drops to add value to the left orbit spinner. Milk that spinner and collect letters in the center saucer.
  • Extra ball is lit by completing the 5 standups along the left below the spinner and collected at the lower right standup.
  • Inline drops light GLOBE letters to get those big points.
  • Beware the gap between the two left "scissor" flippers. A ball that passes in between drains in the most embarrassing way!
  • If Super Bonus carries over, it can be very valuable as well, and can be increased by hitting the lit center spinner.
  • Standup at far right opens the right outlane gate.
  • Hit the lit spinner of the 2 center spinners to increase bonus. Hit in-line drops to multiply that bonus. Game is bonus heavy.

  • The extra button on the right side controls the gator at the top right, grab the ball for 1K + Advance Bonus.
  • After locking a ball in the right saucer, hit one of the two lit standups to collect bonus and start multiball. Bonus does not reset.
  • Add to bonus by capturing the ball with the gator, or the lower left standup.
  • Zip flippers by hitting the mushroom target under the pops. Flippers will open via the rollover in front of the lock saucer.

  • Complete each drop target bank to earn corresponding BonusX color. 2x must be completed before 3x will light, etc.
  • Progress on completed drop target banks of higher level BonusX are saved during the same ball. BonusX must be re-earned each ball.
  • Complete enough drop target banks and Extra Ball will be lit on the upper left flipper lane.
  • Any drop targets count towards Bonus so don't be afraid to shoot out of order!

  • Both banks of drops are linked in multiball. Focus on upper playfield to quickly raise the drop value and collect decent points in mball.
  • Three shots to start multiball--two locks on the upper playfield, then the ramp shot to start the multiball.
  • Top lanes and ramp adds "PIN BALL" letters (i.e., bonus) in center of playfield.
  • Spelling "PIN BALL" lights special. When set to points, Special is worth 500k (big points; you can look at it as a 'Super Jackpot').
  • Completing top lanes, or 1 - 7 yellow targets, builds playfield bonus X. This value multiplies switch values in multiball.
  • Heat bumper is not worth much on its own, but can quickly build the multi-bonus in multiball when your playfield multiplier is high.
  • Complete both banks of drops to raise the base drop completion value; maxes at 50k a set. Extra Ball lights after, which is worth 200k.
  • "Hot Shot" ramp is risky. If on right flipper, post transfer to left, then hit the ramp for 50k or shoot the right orbit to feed upper PF.

  • Always short plunge and be ready to short plunge after a lock or ball saver.
  • During toybox multiball, shoot the toybox to light LOCK shot. Shoot LOCK for a 2x Multiplier. Repeat within 20 seconds for 3x.
  • Short-plunge the "Toys" lock shot when lit (entrance behind R ramp) to lock additional balls in the Toy Box.
  • Light Elevator multiball locks by shooting both orbits.
  • Extra Ball is qualified after starting 3 song modes & collected at L scoop.
  • Slow plunging around to L orbit will award L orbit shot (similar to Kiss).
  • Crank It Up lit at L scoop after first colored arrow mode shot. CIU adds more time, increases lit shot values & awards double the coins.
  • Earn coins based upon mode performance. Combo shots = more coins. The more coins you earn, the more valuable the Super Modes are.
  • Hit both standup targets in front of the Toy Box to light "VIP Pass" outlane ball save.
  • EBs are worth 15 million if turned off.
  • After locking 3 balls, abort multiball. When you do, you can keep locking balls. After the 6th lock, it'll start 6-ball multiball.
  • Hitting the toybox multiple times will continue to light lock for up to 6 balls. Then, continue to hit the lock to lock 6 balls in a row.
  • Spelling AEROSMITH across the bottom stand ups lights a shot x. Completing the 5 targets on the upper playfield lights 2x scoring.
  • How to start the "Love in the Elevator" multi-ball..... Light the "Elevator Lock Ball Light " by hitting BOTH orbit shots ( Left Orbit and Right Orbit). After completing that task, you can then hit the flashing elevator to lock ball one.

  • Center ramp repeatedly to start skull multiball.
  • Centrifuge repeatedly to start that multiball.
  • Quickly plunge (to beat the autolaunch) for the skillshot after locking balls, the insert will not be lit but skillshot is still available.
  • Complete all of one color evidence to start microscope multiball.
  • 3 switch rule. Bonus X by completing inlanes, then scoop. Can do this without game realizing ball is in play. New code may fix this.
  • Stack Centrifuge MB with either Skull or Microscope MB.
  • Start Ballistics mode just before starting a MB.

  • Even if you've collected or missed the other skill shots the left crossover shot stays list for a skill shot combo sequence at the beginning of the ball. Shoot it then the upper loop or side ramp, and repeat for up to 6 shots.
  • You can start Area 51 multiball while one of the Overlord multiball modes is running, but not the other way around.
  • Soft plunge into the drop targets to get one of the van modifications to boost your next mode, or go for bigger points with a plunge directly to the left outlane.
  • Soft plunge to flipper for a free shot.
  • Best mode combos are: LA / Seattle with Area 51, New York with Bot Frenzy, Sonic Radio with New Orleans. Great point scoring / MB building.
  • To activate 2x Playfield, shoot the Right Orbit into the "Rock-O-Meter" lane 3 times. 40 seconds. Repeat during this timer for 3x Playfield.
  • Left ramp is very backhandable.
  • The inlane Raygun Targets, when lit, allow a single 2x shot. Alley pass and hit both for a 4x shot. Relight via each side's inlane rollover.
  • Hit UFO captive ball a few times to light the action button, then hit the action button to spot a lit shot.
  • You can hold up to 3 UFO button charges (yellow = 1, green = 2, red = 3) and bring them into a mode or multiball.
  • To increase Bonus X, hit the paddle target while one/two drops are still standing, to spot the white lights in the middle of the mod-ulator.
  • UFO button charges 2x as fast if you already have 1-2 charges. If you have 1 charge (yellow), consider saving it.

  • Smash the car multiple times then left orbit for multiball.
  • Soft plunges that go past the second rollover and roll back into crate are BAD: no Job progress, minimal score, melts the Ball Save timer.
  • Short soft plunge in to the case for another skill shot. Helps jobs progress.
  • Spell WINSTON to light lock on center ramp.
  • Short plunge into the popper for skill shot, Popper spots enemies.
  • Try soft-plunging balls served from the trough before they auto-launch, to directly serve those balls to the Right Flipper via the Crate.
  • Oath Marker targets light outlane ball saves. FLASHING outlane = active, SOLID outlane = CONSUMED. Fight an Adversary to reset both outlanes.
  • Enemies "block shot arrows." Job shots and Jackpots require clearing any Enemies away from the shot (up to 6) before they can be collected.
  • Job shots give 5s extra time. Once per Job, finish Crate sequence again for a ~30s extension. May exceed the original 60-second time limit.
  • Soft plunge avoiding both rollovers gives Baba Yaga skill shot, starting at 1.5mil.

  • The left ramp locks balls for Zeppelin Multiball. For later multiballs, spell ROCK with the standups on the right to relight locks.
  • Combos build Icarus. Complete a combo by hitting one of the 4 sets of standups.
  • Do NOT start Icarus (playfield multiplier) until all 4 sets of stand ups have some combo value. Do not start if one of the 4 is 1.0x
  • Complete lit shots and hit switches to gain Record Sales. 100k Sales = 1 Gold Record. 5 GRs lights "Change Song", 10 GRs "completes" a song.
  • Lit shot patterns are choreographed to the verses/phrases of each song. In general, solos will light only the Center Ramp for looping shots.
  • Start each game with 1 "Band Boost." Use 1 Boost = auto-cash combo; in MB, 1 Icarus hit. Get more via 5/10 Gold Records & using Change Song.
  • Save 3 Band Boosts (limit 5) for a Super Band Boost. Allows combo auto-cash towards 2 banks, or MB Add-A-Ball separate from Icarus AAB!

  • Spinner million points are awarded in bonus, so Hold Bonus and Award Bonus can be very valuable awards if Spinner Millions is reached.
  • Shoot left ramp or roll though the left inlane. Then shoot the right ramp or right loop to collect the award. Repeat until spinner millions.
  • On first lock, the DMD cycles through awards and a corresponding lock grid space will light up. Drop ball in grid space to get award.
  • Looping the ramps for Yakuza is a good way to start if you can do it consistently, and it also builds toward spinner mils and quick MB.
  • Lock balls in matrix 3 in a row, allows your jackpots to be 3x.
  • Bob's bunker lights first lock. Start a mode to light second and third locks.
  • Don't hold down the move buttons in Video Mode - tap to move in the dir you want, then use them to speed up on the dots when you get close.
  • Starting Yakuza mode right before starting multiball can be extremely lucrative.
  • The Left Flipper changes the selected mode.
  • NASCure mode drops the ball in the Jet Lanes after a successful shot,making it the quickest and safest way to max bonus.Helpful for SpinMil
  • At midnight the game will start Midnight Madness multiball where all targets are worth 3M.

  • Spell LORD by going in kickout holes to shoot mini-ball on left, or by completing banks of drops on lower playfield. LORD lights multiball.
  • Completing lower playfield drops banks lights magna saves (use auxiliary flipper buttons). "Pulse" style magna saves.
  • During multiball there is a ball save for ~30 seconds (see credit display). If you drain during that time, put the other ball in a hole.
  • Inlane switch temporarily lights the center horseshoe lane (feeds out on the left) for +BonusX.

  • Light spinner levels by completing drop targets next to spinner. Then it's spinner all day for big points!
  • Besides increasing the spinner value, the drop targets also open the gate on the right outlane.
  • Shoot locks on left and right, then shoot shuttle ramp in middle to start. Shuttle ramp then freezes and scores points on display.
  • The center target can be dangerous. When down, quickly lock a ball and the target will not reset when the timer runs out.

  • Lock 2 balls on left orbit or right ramp, then shoot left orbit or upper right corner kicker for release. Re-lock 2 balls during MB for JP.
  • Try to only complete 2 of 3 lanes up top. That way when you're back down to single ball play it only takes one lane to relight locks.
  • You can steal locks.
  • Mini playfield lane completion re-lights lock after multiball.
  • "Bonus Ball" is separate from "Extra ball" and is a timed ball played at the end of the game. Multi-ball is unavailable on a bonus ball.
  • USA lanes will increase the stop 'n' score multiplier. If you manage to raise it a bit, stop 'n' score can become pretty valuable.
  • Spell "SHUTTLE" or "STATION" to re-light kickback and score corresponding award. Both flippers at once toggles right "change" target.
  • Getting multiball at least once during your game will increase your bonus ball timer.
  • Both flippers will toggle the white/orange arrows on the right target. It's worth checking it's still on what you want after a slap save.
  • A sweep shot of the upper 3 targets (usually from the left flipper, dropping all of them in one go) is 100K points.

  • To start multiball: Put ball in skull, hit flashing target with gun. During multiball: Lock balls at flashing shots, shoot gun again.
  • The cannon and Super Jackpot lights both strobe in a consistent manner. Learn where they converge for easier Super Jackpot collects.
  • Shoot left and right ramps to eventually start Payback Time. All shots are 5 million for a limited time.
  • If you can't get line of sight to line up the cannon (other machine in the way, etc) try leaning over the glass and looking straight down.
  • If you've only got one ball left in multiball, don't bother going for 1x jackpot, as it'll make the next MB harder.
  • Don't try to keep the balls alive at the expense of your super jackpot. The 50 million is worth too much.
  • When aiming cannon shots, it helps to put your eyes directly behind the cannon and line up a straight shot.
  • Comboing ramps for Payback Time is a viable competitive strategy as it does not get harder to reach the mode, unlike the multiball.
  • Super Jackppt: lock the ball in the cannon to activate “Super Jackpot”. When the cannon starts moving downwards, the moving targets will move down as well & wait for the target is at the bottom & fire the cannon & receive 50 million.
  • PAYBACK TIME: after getting the CPU on both will lit “PAYBACK TIME” for 20 seconds. All strobe targets, both outside lanes & ramps scores 5 million points each. Try to get as much as you can.
