Club Rules
Section 1. Rules Pertaining To Full Members
Club Access Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9am - 10pm. Friday - Saturday, 9am - Midnight.
These hours specifically pertain to times when there are no leagues, tournaments, or specific club events.
After 8pm, no one under the age of thirteen (13) years old is permitted at the club during non-event hours (leagues and tournaments are the exception).
During tournaments and/or leagues, machine access is limited to those actively participating in the tournament/league play.
Guest Policy
Immediate family members listed on the membership form (including kids under 21) may come an unlimited number of times and are permitted to play in leagues and tournaments.
Full Members may request keycard access for their spouse/partner, which will be granted only on approval from the Board of Directors.
Full Members may bring in non-household guests under the following conditions:
A particular guest may only come as a guest up to four (4) times per calendar year.
Two (2) guests at a time are permitted to come with the Full Member.
Exceptions can be requested to the club Officers if a unique situation arises, such as friends/family visiting from out of town.
Guests need to sign in the guest book at the club every time they visit. Failure to do so will result in revocation of guest privileges in the future.
Non-household guests do not have complimentary access to leagues or tournaments. They are required to purchase a membership to participate.
Guests’ and household family members’ behaviour is the responsibility of the Full Member. Full Members will be held accountable for any infractions of guests and household members brought to the club.
Full Members must be present at all times that their guests and immediate family members are at the club - they are not to leave them at the club unsupervised.
Section 2. Rules Pertaining to Associate Members
Club Access Hours: Associate Members may only access the club during tournaments, leagues, and certain special events. After those events conclude, only Full Members may remain at the club. Outside of these conditions, Associate Members may only access the club as a guest of a Full Member (limited to four (4) times in a calendar year).
Guest Policy: Associate Members cannot bring guests.
Section 3. Rules Pertaining to Trial Members
Club Access Hours: Trial Members get single day access to the club and may only purchase three (3) trial passes per year. Trial Members only get access to tournaments, leagues, and certain special events.
Guest Policy: Trial Members cannot bring guests.
Trial Members need to complete a signup form each time they visit the club.
Section 4. Machine Maintenance and Upkeep
Machine owners are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of their own machines, whether they do that themselves or enlist the help of other people.
If there is an issue with a machine, members should scan the QR code at the front desk to document the issue.
The owner of that machine will then get a message to resolve the issue.
If there is a minor issue that can be easily resolved (such as a stuck ball), Full and Associate Members are permitted to open the game up to try to resolve the issue on the spot, without the need to document the issue (unless this is during a tournament or league event, in which case, only tournament directors,or those chosen by tournament directors, are permitted to resolve minor issues).
If a non-Full Member is brought into the club with the purpose of repairing a machine, that person may not play any other games at the club aside from game(s) they are fixing, unless the Full Member they are with chooses to have them sign the guest book as a guest, which would then count against that non-Full Member’s limit of four (4) visits a year.
Section 5. General Rules for Machines
Six (6) machine spots will be reserved in the club for the latest Stern machines.
Games are not to be moved to another spot without permission from a club Officer.
Game level may not be adjusted without permission from a club Officer.
Game volume may be adjusted by Full Members only.
Game settings (extra balls, rules, etc.) may not be adjusted without permission from a club Officer. Any changes made (other than volume) need to be reported to the Tournament Officer along with the reason for the change.
This rule is in place so as not to interfere with the necessary settings needed to run a smooth and fair tournament.
If a game is fundamentally changed because an owner has changed the game ROM, it needs to be stated as such on the game during a competitive event.
Section 6. General Club Rules
Please note that the club is being recorded by security cameras at all times.
The last person to leave the club must ensure all games, lights, TV, and jukebox are turned off.
Coats should not be placed on games, chairs, or couches. They must be hung on the designated coat racks.
Machines must be treated with respect:
No slam tilts, “coffin drops”, slamming a game into another game on purpose, slamming lockdown bars, etc, will be tolerated
Failure to properly respect the games at the club will lead to disciplinary action and possible membership revocation.
Alcohol, smoking, vaping, and/or drugs are not permitted on the premises or property.
Food and drink are permitted. Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves.
All members are expected to contribute to the club in a positive way. Contributions can range from exhibiting positive, friendly behavior to other members in order to establish a welcoming culture, to helping with repairs, cleaning the club, providing games, etc.
All members are expected to help enforce club rules.
